Parth Samthaan’s ACP Ayushman was a character that CID fans hated and trolled when the show first announced it but eventually began to love the new ACP. Parth through his official Instagram account has informed that he has wrapped up his shoot playing the character.
Parth shared a video from his last day at the set of CID 2 on his social media handle telling his fans that he has completed his stint as ACP Ayushman in their favorite show. In his caption, Parth mentioned the journey he has been through with this character and the amazing bonds he made with the whole cast.
The Kasauti Zindagi Kay star also subtly mentioned the backlash he faced at first from the fans as they thought he was there to replace their favorite ACP Pradyuman played by Shivaji Satam. But the fans eventually realised he was not going to replace him but was there to assist the lead and showered love towards his character after they saw him being part of their favorite show.
Parth wrote on his Instagram post, “And that’s it from ACP Ayushmann, from being trolled by people to making them love this ACP was a beautiful journey of learnings, laughter and sweet memories … will always cherish the bond I shared with the entire CID Team (cast and crew).. so much love and respect for one another, no wonder it became the longest running and the most iconic show. A big thank you to all the creatives, Sony TV for making me a part of your family. Until next time.”
CID was one of the biggest and most loved television shows to come out from India. The show was one of India’s longest running TV shows and was on the screens for more than 20 years. Banking on the original’s popularity, Sony backed the reboot of the show with majorly the same cast known as CID 2.
