The Superstar from South India, Dhanush was seen together with his ex-wife Aishwarya Rajinikanth after a long while. The pair was present together to stand beside their eldest son Yatra who was graduating from his school. The photos of the divorced couples went viral as people loved the family reunion.
Dhanush took to his social media and posted a photo of his family together. He posted two pictures in which Yatra can be seen hugging his mother and father after the graduation ceremony. In the photos Yatra can be seen donning a deep blue graduation robe and a blue trencher cap while Dhanush was wearing a white shirt and black pants and Aishwarya can be seen in an off-white dress.
The ‘Raanjhanaa’ actor wrote a sweet caption along with the images that read, “Proud Parents #yathra,” and was followed by two heart emojis.
Dhanush and Rajnikanth’s daughter, Aishwarya married each other in 2004. The couple have two sons together Yatra and Linga who are 19 and 15 respectively. The couple had an 18 year marriage and in 2022 announced that they will be parting ways. Dhanush put up a post on his Instagram and told his fans about their separation and urged them to respect the decision and provide them the privacy they need.
In his Instagram post, Dhanush wrote, “18 years of togetherness as friends, a couple, as parents and well-wishers to each other. The journey has been one of growth, understanding, adjustment, and adaptation. Today, we stand at a place where our paths separate. Aishwarya and I have decided to part ways as a couple and take time to understand us as individuals for the better. Please respect our decision and give us the needed privacy to deal with this.”
Aishwarya also reacted to their separation and reshared Dhanush’s post and wrote, “No caption needed… only your understanding and your love is necessary!” The couple was granted divorce officially last year.
