There are always rumours hovering around the famous celebrities dating each other in Bollywood. One such case is of Konkana Sen Sharma and Amol Parashar who are rumoured to be in a relationship with each for a while now. The pair however, has ignited the reports even more as they made their first public appearance together in the screening of Amol’s new web series Gram Chikitsalay.
The rumour of them dating each other have been circulating for a long while. Parashar has also hinted about the couple being together in one of his previous interviews but never really mentioned it clearly. But last night the two stars were seen posing for the camera and looking lovely alongside each other. Parashar was dawning a blue striped blazer over a white shirt while Konkana looking as bold and lovely as ever was wearing a grey suit.
Earlier in an interview, Parashar was asked about why he hasn’t made his relationship public yet. He said he thinks that real relationships according to him have some sanctity and feels more pure when kept private. He also added, “Nothing is stopping me. I have found no good reason to put it out there.”
Amol also took a small dig at the industry’s PR narratives to put forward relationship and dating rumours just to be seen in the public eye. He stated, “Yaha nahi bhi hote relationships toh chala dete hai (Here even if there is no relationship they still start the rumours) … PRs have suggested this to me before, ki kuch chala dete hai (let’s put something out.)”
The actor emphasized that he doesn’t want to be known for his relationships or who he is dating but wants to be seen by the public for the work that he is doing. Amol said, “I want people to talk about my work. If I want to express something, I’ll do it through my craft.”
Konkana Sen Sharma and Amol Parashar have shared the big screen together in a comedy drama, Dolly Kitty Aur Woh Chamakte Sitare that released in 2019. Konkana was previously married to fellow veteran actor Ranvir Shorey but the two parted ways in 2015 and were officially divorced in 2020.
