Ranveer Allahbadia, the YouTuber and podcaster, has again found himself in trouble over his social media post. The famous media personality is facing backlash over his recent comments that were directed towards the general public of Pakistan. Allahbadia has since deleted his post but the screenshots of it are still surfacing online and the podcaster is facing criticism from Indians on social media.
Popularly known as Beer Biceps, Ranveer commented on the ongoing conflicts between India and Pakistan which have escalated over time. Ranveer had said that he had no hate for the Pakistani public and even apologized to them if they felt that Indians were spreading hate against them. He also said that he is sure that he will receive hate for saying all this but this needs to be said.
In the post, he wrote, “Dear Pakistani Brothers & Sisters, I will get hate from many Indians for this, but it is important to be said. Just like many Indians, I don’t have hate in my heart for you. Many of us want peace as well. Whenever we meet Pakistanis, you invariably welcome us with love.”
Ranveer also talked about how Pakistan’s military and its secret services are responsible for Pakistan’s current condition. He wrote, “Your country is not run by a government. It is run by your military and your secret service (The ISI). The average Pakistani is VERY different than these 2 bodies. The average Pakistani has dreams of peace & prosperity in their hearts. These 2 villains have hurt your economy since independence. They have also constantly been responsible for terrorist attacks in India.”
The YouTuber also gave proof of how the Pakistani military and the ISI have targeted India over and over again and are the sole reason for the current conflicts between the two nations. He stated, “Proof 1: All terrorists that have been caught over the years are originally from Pakistan. Proof 2: Your military leaders attended the state funeral held by Hafiz Abdur Rauf, brother of the Jaish-E-Mohammed chief. Proof 3: Your defense minister Khawaja Asif recently admitted to the state-sponsored terrorism on Sky News.”
After his comments, the Indian internet space was buzzing as people didn’t take his words very kindly. People said whatever he wrote was disrespectful to the army personnel who were risking their lives at the border just so he could apologize to the neighbouring nation. People called his actions shameful, disgraceful and just an act to please the audience of the neighbouring country. Ranveer has since deleted the post and has uploaded another video urging people to stop spreading fake news and rely on government sources.
