The tensions across the border in India and Pakistan have been surging high since the terrorist attacks on Pahalgam and it escalated further after Operation Sindoor. Amidst the tensions many Bollywood celebrities and social media personalities are standing up in support of the Indian Army and the government. One such example is Vishal Mishra’s recent tweets in which the singer has boldly claimed that he will never perform in Turkey and Azerbaijan after their stance with Pakistan in the ongoing conflict.
The singer has made his stand clear stating that he will never perform in or even visit the two countries in his life. He wrote in his tweet, “Never ever going to Turkey and Azerbaijan! No leisure, no concerts! Mark My Words! Never!!” This is one of the boldest statements coming from a celebrity in the middle of the ongoing conflicts between India and Pakistan.
The statement came after Colonel Sofiya Qureshi informed in the press conference that around 300 to 400 Pakistani drones had violated the Indian airspace. The drones had targeted around 36 locations in India with most drones shot down. These drones with which Pakistan has attacked India are Turkish drones reported to be Asisguard Songar models.
Vishal Mishra previously raised questions on other celebrities too for not coming out openly in support of the Indian army and praising their actions in retaliation to the terrorist attacks. He also said in these tough times all of us should support the army as well as stand as “ONE” with the nation.
The singer took to his social media and wrote, “It’s been on my mind & honestly, I don’t get it! How people with a certain following don’t express solidarity with the armed forces! In these times all we should do is support the armed forces, support the nation and let the world know we are “ONE”. Jai Hind”
