Bollywood actress Alia Bhatt has added another feather to her cap as she is about to debut at the Cannes Film Festival 2025, representing L’Oréal Paris as their global ambassador.
Bhatt will be joined by the veteran Cannes attendee and fellow L’Oréal ambassador Aishwarya Rai Bachchan at the festival running from 13 May to 24 May. She will join the elite club with other international faces from the beauty brand, including Eva Longoria, Viola Davis, Jane Fonda and Elle Fanning.
Speaking about the milestone, Alia said that “firsts” have a special place in her heart and expressed “honour” to represent L’Oréal Paris at the Festival with this year’s theme, ‘Lights, Beauty and Action’.
She further added, “To me, beauty is about celebrating individuality, confidence and self-worth. It’s limitless, it’s unique. I’m proud to stand with a brand that celebrates every woman’s journey and empowers them to shine in their own light.”
L’Oréal Paris is marking 28 years at Cannes as the official make-up partner and hails Bhatt’s inclusion as a symbol of Indian cinema’s growing presence on the global stage.
On the work front, Bhatt will be next seen in the movie “Alpha”, directed by Shiv Rawail and produced by Yash Raj Films. The film is slated to release on December 25 this year. She will also star in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s “Love and War” alongside Ranbir Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal.
