Kannappa, the historical mythological epic directed by Mukesh Kumar Singh and produced by Mohan Babu – will be releasing on 27th June 2025. Keeping in mind, the critical importance of North American market and in particular the US market, Telugu star Vishnu Manchu will be travelling to the US and hold roadshows in major US cities to promote this legendary movie.
Based on the legend of Kannappa in Hinduism, a devotee of the god Shiva, the Pan-Indian language film features an ensemble of star-studded names including emerging talent Vishnu Manchu in the titular role, Mohan Babu, alongside Mohanlal, Prabhas, Akshay Kumar (his Telugu film debut) and Kajal Aggarwal in important cameo roles.
Tollywood actor Vishnu Manchu will be flying to the US for Kannappa promotions. The road show dates are as follows and events will take place at local cinemas (venues and times to be shared in due course):
New Jersey – 8th May
Dallas – 9th May
San Francisco – 10th May
During the promotional events, Vishnu will be interacting with local NRIs and offering them a sneak peek into Kannappa with special BTS stills and videos, footage of musical sessions, and more.
Kannappa is produced by Vishnu Manchu under his AVA Entertainment and 24 Frames Factory banners. The film has a soundtrack composed by Manisharma and Stephen Devassy.
The movie was originally slated to be released on April 25, but the makers recently postponed the release date.
