On 22nd March, 2025, 350 members and guests of United Senior Pariwar, Chicago (USPC) celebrated Holi, Rangotsav with well-known singers Ms. Avni Singh and Mr. Saif Ali in Swaminarayan Mandir, Wheeling, IL.
USPC President Ramesh Chokshi warmly welcomed all members and guests of the event. After that Jyotsna Chokshi sang prarthna and Deep Prajwalan with Pujan was performed by Avni Singh, Saif Ali, Dr. Rashmi Patel and core committee members while Puja was solemnly performed by Acharya Shree Rohit Joshi.
Chicago’s well-known singers Avni Singh and Saif Ali performed old classic and new Bollywood songs. All the members present enjoyed with dance and music. Then, Rashmi Patel explained about upcoming project of Mokshdham cremation and distributed certificates to those who bought it by offering $1,500.
United Senior Pariwar, also celebrated members’ birthdays who were born in the month of March and distributed sweets as a gift. The executive committee members elected Mr. Bhanubhai Vyas as the new secretary through voting and he took oath as the new secretary after committing himself to work honestly and expressing allegiance to the organization. All the members present congratulated him after taking oath.
In the end, everyone enjoyed delicious lunch catered by Swaminarayan Mandir, Wheeling.
