FISANA, well known as Federation of Indo American Seniors Association of North America, held an event in which newly elected president Mr. Suresh Patel has taken up the charge from former President Bharat Rana.
Suresh Patel has been actively involved in community services for the last 15 years. At present, Sureshbhai Patel is also the president of Bridgewater Seniors Association. After coming to New Jersey, from India about 40 years back, he had started his own business. After attaining the age of retirement, he decided to wind up his business and started working for community services.
FISANA, being an umbrella organization of almost 20 associations, do organize various events throughout the year like Summer Picnic, Domestic trip for seniors, Diwali celebration, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, musical program etc. which are common to fun and entertainment programs with sponsors and supporters.
Mr. Piyush Patel, the leading businessperson and entrepreneur elected as Chairperson, will continue to extend his financial and physical support to the seniors. As Vice Chair, Dr Mukund Thakar, Subhash Doshi and Rati Patel will continue their support and services. Suresh Patel welcomed other senior’s association to join in and make FISANA as strong as possible for social and political support as senior’s one voice and unified strength.
On March 23rd, FISANA has organized a scintillating Gujarati drama by Ketki Dave at Bridgewater Balaji temple.
