Recently, 350 members of United Senior Pariwar, Chicago celebrated Christmas in Swaminarayan Mandir, Wheeling, IL. Secretary, Ramesh Chokshi warmly welcomed all members and guests on the occasion.
Deep Pragtya was performed by Singers Mrs. Aparna, Ms. Prachi with Mrs. Gitaben Patel, Mrs. Damyanti Dalia, Mrs. Lata Dalia. Acharya Shree Rohit bhai Joshi chanted auspicious shlokas for Puja. Shree Praduman Pathak and Mrs. Smita Pathak chanted the Hanuman Chalisa and explained the true meaning of Hanuman Chalisa while talking about Hindu Sanatan Dharma. The musical evening was performed by the Group of Jam Sessions. The lead singers were Abhijit, Aparna, Prachi, Subrat and Shil. They made the evening memorable by performing golden era songs and latest hits. Every one enjoyed and danced along with the melodious music.
The current President Virendra Patel tendered his resignation and announced the name of Ramesh Choksi as new President from January 1, 2025. Ramesh Chokshi was sworn in with oath for the President. Mrs. Gita Patel greeted and offered flowers to Mrs. Jyotsna Chokshi (wife of Shree Ramesh Chokshi).
The fun filled celebration ended with every one enjoying delicious diner catered by Swami Narayan Mandir Of Wheeling, IL.
