The Kadva Patidar Samaj (KPS) of Chicago hosted a Navratri event at the Fountain View Recreation Center, Carol Stream, IL on September 28, 2024, which garnered an impressive turnout of over 900 KPS members, friends, and families.
The festivities showcased a rich tapestry of cultural celebrations, featuring Shree Ambe Maa and Umiya Mataji’s aartis, 3 Tali and 2 Tali Garbas, Raas Garba, and Sanedo performed by DJ Ujwal and his team.
The venue was adorned with captivating decorations in the lobby, providing the perfect backdrop for capturing cherished moments. Not just vibrant dance, delicious food for the event was provided by Tasty Bites USA.
The success of the Navratri celebration was attributable to the generous contributions of Mithabhai and Jayantibhai’s family (from Orland Park), and Jitubhai and Meenaben Patel (from Indiana) along with heartfelt appreciation extended to all the sponsors.
A special thanks was conveyed to the dedicated KPS volunteers, including the young volunteers whose invaluable assistance contributed to the grandeur of the Navratri event.
