Global rock icon Bryan Adams is set to launch his ‘So Happy It Hurts’ India Tour with a concert in Kolkata on December 8, 2024. This marks his sixth visit to India and his first performance in Kolkata, a city he initially overlooked in his tour schedule.
Adams announced the concert on Instagram, expressing his excitement and inviting fans to prepare for a memorable show. “Namaste India! I’m so excited to announce that I’ll be coming back to India… Let’s rock!” he wrote.
The concert will take place at Aquatica, where extensive preparations are underway to ensure an unforgettable experience for attendees. Organizers are focused on creating a memorable experience for attendees, ensuring that every detail is meticulously planned. Fans can expect to hear classic hits like “Summer of ’69” and “Everything I Do I Do It for You,” alongside tracks from his latest album, also titled ‘So Happy It Hurts’.
Rajdeep Chakraborty, the event organizer, emphasized Kolkata’s cultural significance, stating, “Kolkata is the cultural capital of India—how could he miss it?” After the kick-off show in Kolkata, the tour will continue across cities, including Shillong, Gurugram, Mumbai, Bengaluru, and Hyderabad, concluding on December 16, 2024.
Tickets for the concert are exclusively available through Zomato Live, and fans are encouraged to secure their spots early. Adams’ return to India is highly anticipated, as he has previously captivated audiences with his powerful performances and heartfelt music.
