On March 26, 2024, at the US Institute of Peace in Washington, DC, the inaugural DialogueNEXT will celebrate International Women’s History Month, the 110th birth anniversary of the World Food Prize Foundation’s  Founder and Nobel Peace Prize Laureate, Dr. Norman Borlaug and the 10th anniversary of the unveiling of Dr. Borlaug’s statue in the US Capitol’s National Statuary Hall.

The World Food Prize Foundation’s mission is to elevate innovations and inspire action to sustainably increase the quality, quantity and availability of food for all. Today, more than 80 companies, foundations and individuals support the Foundation.

Centered around the theme Seeds of Equity: Women Driving Growth and Innovation in Agriculture, this gathering explores the pivotal role women play in successfully meeting global food security and agricultural challenges. Through a powerful series of keynotes and conversations, the stage is set to spotlight women empowerment and equity, agricultural innovation and technology and the role of women in fostering peace through agriculture.

In alignment with the mission to elevate innovations and inspire action to sustainably increase the quality, quantity and availability of food for all, the World Food Prize Foundation regularly convenes diverse arrays of food systems stakeholders at state, national and global levels to deliberate on food and agricultural solutions, mobilize collaboration and recognize individuals who have advanced human development through food security.

DialogueNEXT was created in an effort to bring these convenings to diverse corners of the world while tracing Dr. Norman Borlaug’s footsteps and revisiting landmarks preserving his legacy. Taking this journey, leaders draw inspiration from his experiences to navigate important issues of global consequence.

Through a series of worldwide events, DialogueNEXT is set to create a meaningful dialogue that identifies critical next steps in alleviating global hunger.
