Yogesh Raut, from Vancouver, Washington has emerged as the 2024 Jeopardy! Tournament of Champions winner. His remarkable journey led him to victory, securing the $250,000 grand prize. Yogesh, a social and personality psychologist, while coming from behind, won the “Jeopardy! Tournament of Champions” after March 19 game 6 of the series.

Yogesh, who won three games in his initial appearances on the show, became the first player to notch three victories in the finals on Tuesday when he defeated six-game champion Troy Meyer and nine-game champion Ben Chan. Tuesday’s final was a battle to the end, with Yogesh and Troy sparring for first place during the first half of the game.

With his Tournament of Champions victory, Yogesh took home the $250,000 grand prize and punched his ticket to the upcoming Jeopardy! Masters competition, where he will face off against some of the top-performing players in Jeopardy! history.
