Women We Admire announced The Top 25 Women Chief Digital Officers of 2024 – these leaders are instrumental in leading digital transformation initiatives within their respective organizations. Their experience and expertise foster innovation and drive disruptive strategies. They develop personalized and seamless digital experiences that resonate with their customers, improve engagement, and build brand loyalty.

Sushmita Biswas (USAA), Sehr Thadhani (Nasdaq), Ekta Chopra (e.l.f. Beauty), Prama Bhatt (Ulta Beauty), Reeny Sondhi (Twilio) are named in this illustrious list which features the leaders whose experience and expertise foster innovation and drive disruptive strategies.  They develop personalized and seamless digital experiences that resonate with their customers, improve engagement, and build brand loyalty.

Sushmita Biswas is the Chief Digital Officer (CDO) of USAA, LifeCo. As a Financial Services executive with 20+ years experience in digital strategy and transformation, product & operations management and data-analytics. Biswas has driven growth, efficiency and exceptional customer experiences in multiple countries spanning the US, UK and Asia. Outside of work, Sushmita is an Indian Classical dancer, a professional actor and an oil and acrylic painter. Passionate about inclusion in diversity, Sushmita is founder of ConnectNDance, Newton -an initiative that connects children across cultures to unite through dance.

Sehr Thadani has held senior roles across brand strategy, business design, innovation and transformation at some of the world’s top companies, including Nasdaq, where she is the Chief Digital Officer, and previously at Google, NBC, Edelman Digital, and Viacom. She has also served as a trusted advisor and thought partner to some of the world’s top executives and leaders at GE, Estee Lauder, Samsung, the Department of Education, and the White House during the Obama Administration. Thadani completed her BA from Indiana University, Bloomington and did her MBA from Columbia Business School.

With over 20+ years of Technology experience from private equity and retail companies, Ekta Chopra joined E.L.F. in 2016. Before having her current job as Chief Digital Officer, she worked as Director of Technology of the James Irvine Foundation for three years, where she was recruited to drive a complete transformation of IT team, systems, and operations for this foundation committed to enhancing the quality of life for people in California. Before that, she served as VP of Technology for Charming Charlie, a specialty retailer that grew from 17 to 120 stores nationally.

Ekta Chopra holds a BA in technology & operations management and a minor in finance from California Polytechnic State University. She is also a member of Silicon Valley CIO/CTO groups as a thought leader.

Prama Bhatt,  at Ulta Beauty Bhatt alongwith her team reinvented beauty engagement through innovative, reimagined digital and omnichannel experiences. Since joining the Fortune 500 retailer in 2014, her forward-thinking, visionary approach has fueled e-commerce growth which now accounts for more than 20% of total company sales.

Renee Sondhi is currently responsible for the Information and Corporate Security organizations as well as Information Technology. She joined Twilio from Autodesk where she was a chief security officer. Sondhi was responsible for driving the company’s security and trust strategy for its infrastructure, products, and services. She previously led security engineering for EMC, now part of Dell.
