Noted award-winning Bollywood filmmaker-actor and branding specialist, Rahul Mittra presided over the closing ceremony of the hugely successful 3rd WAKO (World Association of Kickboxing Organisations) India International Kickboxing Tournament as chief guest. The ceremony was held at a packed Indira Gandhi Sports Complex in the capital city of New Delhi on Sunday, February 11, 2024.
The event witnessed professional kickboxers from nearly 22 countries, competing in this coveted sporting tournament, amidst loud cheers from their team members. Speaking at the event, Rahul Mittra said, “Sports instills virtues like team spirit and discipline, which are essential life lessons.”
Other prominent guests included former President of Film and Television Institute of India, FTII Pune and Aryans pop band founder DJ Narain, Ms. Alaa Al-Obeidi, Charge d’Affaires of Iraq Embassy, Ambassador of Uzbekistan Sardor Mirzayusupovich Rustambaev, WAKO President Roy Baker, WAKO India President Santosh Agrawal, criminal lawyer Reshul Mittra, Stagecraft Founder Ankit Srivastava, apart from the senior diplomats, bureaucrats, media, and sports persons in large numbers.
