The Bharatiya Senior Citizens (BSC) of Chicago celebrated New Year’s Eve on 31st December 2023 at ‘Rana Regan Center’ in Carol Stream, IL. More than 400 people participated in the event which made it a grand success. Haribhai Patel, the President of BSC welcomed all seniors and invited the guests to enjoy the New Year’s Eve party while conveying the best wishes to all for the coming New Year 2024.
The festival kicked off at 6:30 pm with appetizers such as Mexican Bhel, Samosa, Cocktail, Pani Puri, Mango Lassi, and Veg Manchurian. The Live Music Group Singers Sameer, Payal Ganguli, and John Mall sang old and new Bollywood songs until the countdown at 12 am. The Belly Dancer girls from Las Vegas provided an amazing dance performance on Bollywood hit songs.
Every attendee enjoyed the delicacies at the Dinner which took place at 9:45 pm with Indian Dishes that were served to all the party guests looking for delicious and authentic taste. The sumptuous dinner menu included Paratha, Jira Rice, Dal Makhani, Matar Paneer, Lasaniya Potatoes, Edada, Papads, Salad, Mango Pickle, Walnuts Halwa, and Angoori Rabdi. Not to be missed, in dessert everybody enjoyed Ice Cream, Vadilal Kulfi, Tea, and Coffee.
At the end of the New Year’s Eve program, BSC President Haribhai Patel called all the committee members on the stage, recognized all of them, and conveyed that without their help the program could not have been a success.
