The prestigious 6th Annual IFAB Music Media and Fashion Awards 2023 was held on Saturday, November 25th at ITV Gold Auditorium, Edison, NJ. Founded by Juhi and Anil Jagiasi, the IFAB Awards has become a distinguished platform for recognizing and honoring local talent in the Music, Media, and Entertainment industry.

The Red Carpet Gala night, ably guided by the talented singer and MC, Irfan Ali ( of Sa Re Ga Ma fame), opened with youthful charm by Sara Ali. The event witnessed an enchanting spectacle featuring musical performances, fashion shows, the crowning of the IFAB Model of the Year 2023 and the presentation of coveted awards.

The Awards presented in the Music category included singers in various categories: Ali Z (Best Composer and Producer), Sunita Misra and Anindya Gupta (best duet singer), Rajan Sharma (Best Male Singer), Pradeep Gupta (1st RU male) and Gauri Singa (Best female singer), Venkat and Vidya Krishnan (Dining with Music).

It also included Punjabi (Sandeep Kaur), Tamil duets (Venkat and Rinku Shah) and medley by Soumalya Chowdhary and above all participation of youth Anoushka Chowdhary. All other singers Nayana Bhatt, Vikrant Patel and Harsha Sinha were awesome, as per the release.

The night was enriched further by Guest Singers like Sunita Kapur, Shahid Saleem, Pradeep Gupta, Anitha Krishna, KrishNazi and Anil Jagiasi, whose performances added an enchanting aura to the pulsating environment.

Adding a melodic touch to the celebration, Abraham Alex was recognized and awarded for Best Sound, elevating the auditory experience for all attendees. This seamless integration of sound and music brought a new dimension to an already spectacular event.

The event was sponsored partly by Seema Jagtiani and Dr. Umar Farooq and heavily promoted by Sunil Hali of Radio Zindagi, Tri State and The Indian Eye.

The awards ceremony also featured accolades in various other categories, such as Best Casting Director awarded to Kesh Casting, Amit Jaitley as National Promoter in NJ, Ishaan Jagiasi for South Asian in Sports, Neil Makhija for South Asian in Politics, and Anil Jagiasi for Structural Engineering for the largest Hanuman statue in Temple in Delaware and Rachna Sharma from West Windsor, NJ, as per the release.

The Media awards were bestowed upon H R Shah (TV Asia), Rajeev Bhambhri (India Abroad), Sunil Hali (Radio Zindagi and The Indian Eye), and Sreekant from TV 9, Gunjesh Desai (Masala Junction), Ilayas Qureahi and Dr Sudhir Parikh (Desi talk and ITV GOLD) representing excellence in their respective fields of TV, print, and radio. Piya Jyoti Kachroo bagged the Best Host award and Raagini (Mana TV) for Best Reporter.

The Fashion Awards celebrated the Best Makeup Artist, Sophia, and recognized Avas Cosmetics, represented by business entrepreneur Amisha Krit Hitt. The best Sustainable Indian designer was given to the Pinkaari collection by Sonal Gadhavi.

The evening also witnessed the crowning of the IFAB Model of the Year 2023, making the IFAB  Music, Media and Fashion Awards a truly comprehensive celebration of talent and creativity.
