On World Music Day on June 21st, the US Ambassador to India presented a treat in the form of an excellent rendition of popular song Hindi song, ‘Mai Teri Aankhon Mein kabhi Udasi Dekh Sakta Nahi’ on Piano. He tweeted, “Get ready to groove, India! For World Music Day, join me as I play the instrumental cover of this popular Hindi Sing that I‘m hearing everywhere these days!”
Ambassador Garcetti tagged King and Nick Jonas, who collaborated to come out with another melodious version Afterlife, unveiled recently. The remake has already gathered more than 340 million views on YouTube. King, the Indian artiste, popularly known as Arpan Kumar Chandel, has delivered many hits before and Nick Jonas, the American singer and songwriter and also best known as one of the Jonas Brothers, a band formed with his brothers Kevin and Joe.
“I have been trained as a Jazz musician but here in India I am broadening my horizons. As our countries are coming together, even our singers like King and Nick are collaborating to bring India and US close together,” said Garcetti emphasizing the growing relationship between India and US.
