IOC-USA thanks its volunteers and supporters for a successful Rahul Gandhi meeting at Javits Center

IOC-USA gathered its volunteers and supporters at Royal Albert Palace in Edison, New Jersey, and thanked them for their hard work and dedication in making the Rahul Gandhi meeting at the Javits Center an enormous success.

Mohinder Singh Gilzian, President of the IOCUSA, congratulated the team headed by Mr. Pradeep Samala for their commitment, dedication, and sacrifice in the last several weeks that resulted in drawing close to 4000 members of the Indian Diaspora to listen to Mr. Rahul Gandhi. “The Indian Americans are energized and remain hopeful for the future and a better India,” said Gilzian.

A plaque was presented to Mr. Pradeep Samala, who was the Convenor and the force behind the event recognizing his leadership and service to the organization and the community. Mr. John Joseph and Mr. Rajiv Mohan were also applauded for their help in critical areas such as hospitality and IT support. Mr. Peter Kothari, Mr. Harkesh Thakur, and Mr. Ram Gadula were also thanked for their help and support from New Jersey. Mr. Venkatesh Muthiyala and the team were lauded for their excellent job at the venue.

The Chapter leaders such as Leela Maret, Gurmit Giil, Amar Singh Gulshan, Rajeswara Reddy, Pavan Darisi, Gajendran Ganesan, and Jayesh Patel contributed immensely to the success of the meeting. Other notable help also came from Sharat Vemuganti, Sukhjinder Singh Bedesha, Joseph Idicula, Tajinder Singh Gill, Talwinder Singh Kaila, Vipin Kumar, Kulbir Singh Zoria, Kawaljit Gurpreet Vaseer, Krishnsree Gandham, Sophia Sharma (Emcee),  Vijay Nadella (Souvenir), Narender Reddy, Sudheer Bandigari, Avi Dandiya, Shiva Sirupa, Druva A Chowdary, Anjan Karnati, Sukhi Sindhu, Shekar Konala, Raju Abraham, Mohammed Mujahid Murtuza and Ramesh Chandra.

George Abraham, Vice-Chairman of the IOCUSA, encouraged the gathering to keep up the momentum that has been created from this great event and work towards preserving and promoting democratic values such as freedom and equal justice here in the U.S. as well as in India.
