A farewell to the outgoing President Chandan Singh Khati while electing a new executive board for 2023–24
The new executive board for the Uttarakhand Samaj of Greater Chicago will be led by the President, Smita Pant; Vice President, Vikram Singh Negi; Treasurer, Rashmi Joshi Mohan; Secretary, Rahul Sharma; and Joint Secretary, Mohan Rawat.
USOGC has organized a very grand Holi celebration and is planning to host a summer picnic on June 18th in Busse Woods, Elk Grove Village. The much-awaited Uttarakhand’s Diwali celebration will be organized with great pomp and show in November.
The main objective of USOGC is to support charity programs in Uttarakhand, serving small and local organizations that are doing notable work in the remote areas of Uttarakhand.
USOGC has completed 8 years since its inception in 2015, promoting the rich tradition and customs of Uttarakhand in America. “A lot has been done, and a lot more needs to be done in the years to come,” this motto is the guiding force behind the commitment of USOGC, to taking forward and displaying the cultural diversity of India in the most diversified country in the world.
