Global leaders mourn the sad demise of Odisha Train accident victims

President of the US, Joe Biden is heartbroken by the Odisha train crash and has offered his prayers to those who lost loved ones in this tragic accident in India. The United States and India share deep bonds and people all across America mourn alongside the people of India, he said.

Russian President, Vladimir Putin expressed condolences over the sad demise of Indians in the heart-rending train accident in Odisha. He expressed grief over the devastating incident and offered condolences to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, President Droupadi Murmu, and the victims of the train accident.

Chinese President, Xi Jinping offered his condolences to India’s President and Prime Minister Modi. He said, he was ‘shocked to learn of the accident’ and ‘on behalf of the Chinese government and people expressed deep condolences over the victims.’

French President, Emmanuel Macron condoled the loss of lives after the tragic train accident and said, ‘My deepest condolences to President Murmu, Prime Minister Modi, and the people of India. France stands in solidarity with you. My thoughts are with the families of the victims.”

Canadian PM Justin Trudeau while condoling the loss of lives in the train accident, said ‘the images and reports of the train crash in Odisha, India break my heart. At this difficult time, Canadians are standing with the people of India.”

US Ambassador to India, Eric Garcetti offered his sympathies and said, ‘We extend our deepest condolences to the families of those who lost their lives in the tragic train accident in Balasore. We stand with India and the people of Odisha in this time of grief.”
