The Vattikuti Foundation is inviting surgeons to submit high-quality, robotic surgery videos for the KS International Innovation Robotic Surgery Awards, 2023. All submissions will be ranked on criteria by three levels of judging to select the best in class. Additionally, all entries will be considered for the in-person academic symposium in Ghent, Belgium, 7-8 October 2023. Winners will be announced at the KS International Innovation Awards 2023 Ceremony in Ghent, Belgium on 7-8 October 2023.

The KS International Robotic Surgery Video Awards are intended to honor the memory of the late CEO of Vattikuti Technologies, Krishnaswami Subrahmaniam, whose tireless efforts established and expanded robotic surgery programs throughout India. The goal of the Awards is to recognize surgical talent and share new, cutting-edge educational robotic surgery videos with the world.

The achievements of the Vattikuti Foundation stem from Indian-born Raj Vattikuti who migrated to Detroit, Michigan to advance his education. Establishing his home in the US, Vattikuti’s innovative spirit and relentless work ethic forged prosperous international business ventures in the information technology industry.

The Foundation catapulted the advancement of robotic surgery to improve outcomes for patients with prostate cancer with a noteworthy contribution of $20 million to form the Vattikuti Urology Institute at the Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, Michigan.
