The Cerritos-based Non-profit, Saahas For Cause, will hold ‘Chak De SoCal’ named after the popular Bollywood movie, Chak De India. To be held on May 6th 2023, and organized by Sheetal Kulkarani and Payal Sawhney, this event is planned in collaboration with Southern California Youth Cricket Academy and Los Angeles County Department of Mental Health.
A few hours of cricket can have a very positive impact on your mind. Watching, playing and learning cricket can transform the most hectic and stressful day into a relaxed and fulfilling one! Saahas for Cause has announced two upcoming community events in collaboration with Los Angeles County Department of Mental Health. “Take Action for Mental Health LA project coming up in May 2023”
The event will include a cricket workshop by professional coaches of SCYCA for participants under the age of 18, a friendly Cricket game between adults, parents, volunteers and audience, family-friendly games and activities, Zumba, face painting, yoga, interaction with a panel of therapists.
