Reelected for the 5th time, CA State Assemblywoman Sharon Kirk Silva was sworn in Buena Park. US District Court Judge David O. Carter performed her Oath ceremony. Congressman Lou Correa, State Senator Josh Newman, Assemblywoman Cottie Petrie-Norris, Mayors from many cities, Police Chief, Supervisors & leading community members joined her Swearing-in ceremony.
Leading Indian Americans Rajendra Vora – Founder & President of Jain Social Group Beverly Hills, Yogi Patel of Lebon Hospitality, Parimal Shah & Rohini Bedi from the Chamber of Commerce & Natu Patel were also invited. “Solutions are found by bringing people together, not driving them apart & that is Assemblywoman Sharon Kirk Silva,” said Rajendra Vora.
“It doesn’t take a Democrat or Republican. It takes people working together,” said Yogi Patel.
Her district includes Fullerton, Anaheim, Cypress, La Palma, Cerritos, Artesia where many Indian American lives.
