90s nostalgia as Sunny Deol, Jackie Shroff, Mithun and Sanjay Dutt feature in a new film

Hold your breath if you are a 1990s kid. Sunny Deol, Sanjay Dutt, Jackie Shroff and Mithun Chakraborty are coming together in a new film.

On Wednesday, Sunny took to Instagram and shared that he will be sharing screen space with stalwarts of the Indian cinema. Sharing the first-look poster from the yet-to-be-titled film, Sunny wrote, “Baap of all films. Shoot dhamaal, dosti bemisaal.”

As per the reports, the movie is an action drama. Vivek Chauhan will reportedly helm the film. Ahmed Khan is producing the project.

In the announcement poster, the four actors are seen sitting next to each other. Sunny appears to be a prisoner in orange and white attire. Sanjay is seen wearing a black T-shirt, jeans and a brown jacket. Jackie Shroff, on the other hand, carries his signature handkerchief. Mithun Da is seen wearing a dark shirt, jeans, a sleeveless brown jacket and a green beret cap.

The particular announced has left everyone excited. “Woaaaah. Big news of the day,” a social media user commented. “Can’t wait for this collaboration,” another one wrote.

Sunny Deol, on Thursday, unveiled the character posters from their upcoming yet-to-be-titled action entertainer film. Sharing a string of posters, the ‘Gadar’ actor wrote, “Khalnayak ho ya Hero, macha denge Gadar. Koi shaq!!!”

In the posters, Sunny could be seen in a rough breaded look as Arjun, Mithun Da’s character is named Yeda Bhagat. Sanjay Dutt’s character Ballu’s look reminds the fans of his looks from 2000s films, while Jackie’s character is named Jaikishan, and could be seen with a scarf tied around his neck.

Soon after the character posters were out, fans flooded the comment section with red heart and fire emoticons. “Le 80s and 90s boys – abhi maja aayega na bheedu,” a fan commented. Another fan wrote, “Ab lag rha h asli multi starar movei ban rhi h.”

“Indian version of The Expendables,” commented another fan.

Meanwhile, Sunny was seen in a thriller film ‘Chup’ alongside Dulquer Salmaan which got decent responses from the audience. He will also be seen in the director Anil Sharma’s next ‘Gadar 2’ and ‘Apne 2’.

Mithun Da was seen in ‘The Kashmir Files’ alongside Anupam Kher, which emerged to be one of the highest-grossing Hindi films of 2022.

Jackie, on the other hand, was recently seen in the horror comedy film ‘Phone Bhoot’ along with Siddhant Chaturvedi, Ishaan Khatter and Katrina Kaif.

Sanjay will also be seen in an upcoming sci-fi horror comedy film ‘The Virgin Tree’ opposite Sunny Singh and Mouni Roy.

In the horror-comedy drama, Sanjay will be seen sharing screen space with Mouni Roy, Palak Tiwari, Sunny Singh, Aasif Khan and Beyounick. Apart from starring in the film, Sanjay is also producing it with Deepak Mukut’s Soham Rockstar Entertainment.

Sharing more details about the film, Sanjay said, “I am pleased to back the film which was exactly the script I was looking for. The film is the perfect blend of comedy and horror, with the right balance of chills and thrills. I am so glad to have found a production partner, in Deepak Mukut whose cinematic vision and ideals aligns with mine. I always wanted to encourage young fresh talent in the industry and with this film, we launch a new director with brilliant fresh vision. He has put together an eclectic cast and I wish them the best time and a glorious shoot ahead.”
