At an event hosted by G30, the former Lt. Governor of Puducherry says the book, ‘Fearless Governance’, was all about transparency and accountability

Known for her fearless ways to run any administration, Dr Kiran Bedi was in New York at the Indian Consulate to present her book, “Fearless Governance”. The former Lt. Governor of Puducherry said the book was all about transparency and accountability.

Dr Bedi presented the book to Indian Consul General in New York, Randhir Jaiswal, at an event organized by G30 group in New York headed by Pam Kwatra, a recipient of Ellis Island Medal and a highly-respected woman leader with Eric Kumar.

At the event, Dr Bedi recounted her five years as the Lt Governor of the Union Territory. “My doors were open to the common man and I would hear them. This has always worked for me. There is nothing secretive. I have always stuck to my belief, be honest and fearless. The book is a guideline for new generation,” said Dr Bedi.

“Dr Bedi is an inspirer and a guiding light for decades,” said Sunil Hali, a well-known publisher in North America. Dr Bedi presented a book to Sunil Hali.

Dr Bedi was visiting the US for a UN meeting. The book was originally released by another globally renowned woman leader, Indira Nooyi who had said, the book is practically applicable in all walks of life, corporate and public alike. G30 is a group of Indian-Americans in New York who work with Dr Bedi closely to support her NGO for the under-privileged children.
