Acharya Lokesh delivers talk on ‘Peace and Harmony through Indian Cultural Values’

It is a matter of pride for the spiritual lovers that a talk of World Peace Ambassador Acharya Dr Lokesh Muni organized here on the topic “Peace and Harmony through Indian Cultural Values” at the Headquarters of Consulate General of India in New York. The talk was organized in New York, USA under the joint aegis of Consulate General of India and Ahimsa Visva Bharti Foundation USA where a large number of dignitaries from the Indian community and office bearers of CGI New York participated.

During this, Acharya Lokesh discussed in detail the policies to establish peace and harmony around the world through Indian cultural values.

While addressing the talk Acharya Dr. Lokesh ji, Founder of Ahimsa Vishwa Bharti, said that India can play a major role in global affairs in the coming years. Acharya said that the whole world is looking towards India now a days, adopting Indian culture, be it the Corona period or the war between Ukraine and Russia, ancient Indian lifestyle, yoga & spirituality and peace & harmony have been very relevant.

Acharya Lokesh said that not only India and America but different parts of the world are affected by violence and terrorism. America and India must fight together against violence and terrorism. Acharya said that to solve these problems, India’s first World Peace Center is being established in Delhi NCR by Ahimsa Vishwa Bharti organization where efforts will be done to solve global problems through peace and harmony.

On this occasion, Mr. Randhir Jaiswal, the Consulate General of India in New York, while welcoming Dr. Lokesh said that Acharya is taking the ancient civilization and culture of India to the people through Peace & Harmony Tour in the year of Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav. Appreciating the peace and harmony tour of Acharya Dr. Lokesh Muni to USA, he said that violence and terror are major global problems, for the solution of which Acharya is dedicated for the last several decades through the Lord Mahavir’s philosophy of non-violence. He said that the political, spiritual, social and business leaders of America and India can work together to solve these global problems.

On this occasion, New York State Assembly honored Acharya Dr. Lokesh for his humanitarian work. Jennifer Rajkumar read the citation. On this occasion, Mr. Kamlesh Mehta, President of Indo American Press Club, Mr. Anil Monga, Mr. Karamjit Singh Dhaliwal, Mukesh Modi, Prem Bhandari, Ashok Sancheti, Rashmikant Kamdar, Mihir Desai, Vikram Gill, Pankil Shah, Girish Shah, Bipin Sangankar and many others were present including the people from the Indian community in large numbers.
