Akshay Kumar has dropped a fun teaser for the first song from his upcoming film Bhooth Bangla. Titled Ram Ji Aake Bhala Karenge, the track mixes comedy, dance, and rap. Fans love how it brings back Akshay’s old-style humor with ghosts and laughs.
The song comes from Bhooth Bangla, a horror-comedy set for release on April 10, 2026. Directed by Priyadarshan, it reunites Akshay with the team after 16 years since Khatta Meetha. The cast includes Tabu, Paresh Rawal, Rajpal Yadav, Wamiqa Gabbi, Asrani, and Manoj Joshi. This mix promises scares and big laughs in a haunted house tale.
What stands out is the nod to Satyajit Ray’s 1969 film Goopy Gyne Bagha Byne. In the new song, Akshay raps about types of ghosts like “narr bhoot, mada bhoot, seedha bhoot, sada bhoot, jeeja bhoot, saala bhoot”. This echoes the fun song Bhooter Raja Dilo Bor from Ray’s movie. There, characters Goopy and Bagha celebrate boons from the Ghost King by naming ghosts such as “baba bhoot, chhana bhoot, khonra bhoot, kaana bhoot”.
Pritam composed the track, with lyrics by Kumaar, sung by Armaan Malik and Aarvan, and rap by Mellow D. Choreographer Ganesh Acharya adds high energy. Pritam and the team pay tribute to Ray’s timeless fantasy without copying it directly.
Social media is buzzing. Fans say, “Comedy king is back!” and “Chartbuster loading”. One wrote, “OG Akshay-Priyadarshan combo after years”. Produced by Akshay, Ektaa R Kapoor, and Shobha Kapoor under Balaji, the film has moved up from May to April for cinemas.
