Seven iconic movies of Shah Rukh Khan to be re-released on 60th Birthday

Shah Rukh Khan, known as the King of Bollywood, is celebrating his 60th birthday with a grand re-release of seven of his iconic films in theatres across India and worldwide, announced as part of a two-week film festival starting October 31. The initiative, planned by PVR Inox Limited, aims to bring fans back to the silver screen to relive some of SRK’s most celebrated hits.

The festival features classics spanning nearly three decades of his career, including Kabhi Haan Kabhi Naa (1994), Dil Se (1998), Devdas (2002), Main Hoon Na (2004), Om Shanti Om (2007), Chennai Express (2013), and his recent blockbuster Jawan (2023). These films will be screened across more than 75 cinemas in over 30 Indian cities with international screenings also planned, allowing global fans to celebrate SRK’s cinematic legacy.

From romantic comedies to intense political dramas, the films showcase the versatility that has made SRK an industry icon. Notable films include Dil Se, with its iconic soundtrack featuring “Chaiyya Chaiyya”, and Devdas, renowned for its grandeur and tragic love story. Fans will also get to revisit Om Shanti Om, one of SRK’s biggest blockbusters, and Jawan, his latest record-breaking action film.

This re-release not only marks SRK’s milestone birthday but also celebrates his decades-long influence on Indian cinema. The festival provides a rare opportunity for fans to relive the magic of Bollywood’s beloved superstar on the big screen, reaffirming Shah Rukh Khan’s reign as Bollywood’s undisputed king.
