The Indo American Fair 2025, held at Mercer County Park, concluded with resounding success, attracting thousands of attendees from across the region. Organized by the dedicated Rajesh and Arun Anand family, the fair has become a hallmark event in New Jersey, celebrating community, diversity, culture, and local talent.
The fair opened each day with Ganesh Aarti, invoking Bappa’s blessings. As in past years, the event featured a wide variety of booths—from delicious food stalls and exquisite clothing and jewelry displays to local businesses offering banking, mortgages, insurance, and more. This vibrant showcase created opportunities for local entrepreneurs to present their products and services, reflecting the fair’s commitment to economic growth and cultural exchange.
A major highlight was the special appearance of Padma Shri Kailash Kher, whose presence brought Bollywood glamour to the fair. Kailash Kher presented trophies and plaques to generous sponsors and supporters, and later electrified the audience with his hit Bollywood songs, creating unforgettable moments for attendees.
“We are thrilled with the overwhelming response to this year’s Indo American Fair,” said Rajesh Anand, one of the organizers. “Our goal has always been to bring the community together while supporting local businesses and artists. This year, we saw an incredible turnout and a fantastic display of talent, culture, and community spirit.”
The fair also showcased the richness of Indian performing arts. Leading New Jersey dance schools presented Odissi, Bharatanatyam, Kuchipudi, and Kathak, while Carnatic music performances transported audiences to India’s classical heritage. Another major attraction was the Ram Leela by Master Ji’s Heritage Ram Leela Studio on August 31, which depicted episodes from the Ramayan along with moving scenes of Shirdi Sai Baba. The performance captivated audiences with its artistry and devotion.
In addition, the fair featured vibrant vendor booths selling kurtis, silk sarees, scarves, stoles, handicrafts, jewelry, bangles, diamond jewelry, and one-gram gold pieces. Vendors came not only from New Jersey but also from other U.S. states, Canada, and India, adding to the diversity.
Music and dance were central to the festivities, with live DJs, local South Asian singers, and popular Bollywood-style dance groups energizing the crowd. The event created a dignified platform for youth and talented artists, ensuring that tradition and creativity continue to thrive in the diaspora.
The major sponsors of Indo American Fair 2025 included Sony TV, RK Jewels, TV Asia, New York Life, Horizon BCBS, BCB Bank, Radio Mirchi, Parikh Worldwide Media/ITV Gold, Radio Zindagi, Vilux Roses, Curry Zone, Cinestar, Vatan Restaurant, Business NJ, Viara Properties, Dvarka Indian Cuisine, Jewelers 9Lakha, Neer Caterer, The Shruti Batra Team, Tech 365, Rudra Dance Academy, Dreamline Productions, Aspire Builders and Contractors, Lakshmi Kant family, Gaurav and Jyoti Kapoor, Star Tours, The Indian Eye Newspaper, Aaj Tak, and many others.
