Music icon Yo Yo Honey Singh has dropped his much-anticipated single “Mashooqa”, released under the Saregama Music label, marking a powerful comeback to the music scene. The upbeat track, already being touted as a potential anthem of the season, combines Honey Singh’s trademark beats with an innovative, refreshing sound.
The single features model and performer Charmee Zaveri in her debut music video role, bringing a vibrant screen presence to the track. Adding depth to the composition, vocalist Pho delivers captivating female vocals that complement Singh’s style and elevate the song’s overall appeal.
Directed by Mihir Gulati, the official music video pairs high-energy visuals with Singh’s electrifying soundscape. Significantly, the story and screenplay have been penned by Honey Singh himself, ensuring the project bears his creative imprint. Behind the production are industry veterans Shirin Morani and Hitendra Kapopara, with Piyush Jain joining as co-producer to enhance the scale of the release.
Speaking at the launch, Honey Singh described the single as especially meaningful to him, noting that “Mashooqa” pushes boundaries both musically and visually. He highlighted the importance of working with a fresh face like Zaveri and acknowledged the layered impact of Pho’s vocals on the track.
