One of the most widely celebrated festivals across the country, Ganesh Chaturthi has arrived and much like everyone else, Bollywood celebs have joined in the bandwagon wishing their fans a “Happy Ganesh Chaturthi”. Here’s how different movie stars have welcomed Ganpati Bappa into their homes.
Veteran Bollywood actress Kareena Kapoor Khan shared a picture of Lord Ganesh’s idol on her Instagram Stories. She wished her fans a “Happy Ganesh Chaturthi”. The side note on her story read, “Celebrations are always brighter with Bappa’s blessings.”
Bollywood’s Khiladi, superstar Akshay Kumar, who is gearing up for the release of his new film Jolly LLB 3, wished all of his fans and their family on this auspicious occasion. The actor wrote, “Aap aur apke parivaar ko Ganesh Chaturthi ke dher saare shubhkamnaye. (Lots of good wishes to you and your family on Ganesh Chaturthi). Ganpati bappa morya.”
Priyanka Chopra Jonas also shared a picture of Lord Ganesh on her Instagram stories. With the story she added the popular song Deva Shree Ganesha from her film Agneepath. She wrote, “Happy Ganesh Chaturthi.”
Veteran actor Suniel Shetty sent his heartfelt wishes to his online family. “Shri Ganpati namah. On this auspicious day, may Vighnaharta bless every home with peace, prosperity and wisdom. Ganpati Bappa Moraya. Mangal murti moraya,” the actor wrote.
‘Kabir Singh’ famed actor Shahid Kapoor also wished his fans on the auspicious occasion and radiated positive vibes through his wishes. In his story the actor put up a silhouette of Lord Ganesh and wrote, “Here’s to fearless starts and unstoppable journeys with Bappa’s grace.”
Legendary Bollywood filmmaker Karan Johar also hopped onto the festive celebrations as well and posted greetings on his Instagram Stories. Johar wished all his fans, writing, “May Lord Ganesh’s blessings fill your home with joy and prosperity.”
