Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) is going to celebrate its 100-year anniversary. While the Sangh is planning a huge celebration to celebrate its century-long journey, it is being reported that they would not be inviting the embassies of Pakistan, Turkey and Bangladesh. The RSS will however, be inviting other diplomatic centres which it has been in touch with.

The list of those who have been invited to the 100-year celebration include the representatives of minority communities, sports and cultural icons, thought leaders and entrepreneurs from emerging fields such as startups and Indian knowledge systems.

The event will be led by the Sanghchalak, Mohan Bhagwat and will be a three-day event in Delhi from August 26th. The event will be focusing on the 100 year-long journey that RSS has completed and how the Sangh has helped in building the nation through these years and the vision of RSS for “new horizons”.

Mohan Bhagwat’s dialogue in Delhi will kickstart a series of four major events. This event in Delhi will be a run-up to the Vijayadashami centenary on October 2. According to the reports, there are similar dialogues scheduled in Bengaluru in November, followed by the move to Kolkata and thereafter to Mumbai in the end.

The programme that is being staged in the capital of the country will begin each day in the evening at 5:30 PM. There the organisers will also dive into the ‘Panch Parivartan’ (Five Transformations) agenda of the centenary year.

Through this event, Bhagwat is expected to highlight national issues such as India shaping its future through indigenous strengths rather than relying on the benchmarks of the colonial-era, unexplored capacities in various fields, and the country’s evolving role all across the globe.
