Two of the most popular rappers from India, Honey Singh and Badshah have been involved in a constant tussle for over 16 years now. Both superstars have thrown shade at each other at various different instances over the years and have had differences with Badshah accusing Honey Singh of not giving him credits for the song.
Badshah has reignited the war as he has passed another sly comment towards Honey Singh on X. One of Honey Singh’s fans posted a couple of photos of the superstar displaying his superb physical transformation. The fan captioned the post, noting his weight-loss, “What did he eat?”
Badshah out of nowhere cheekily wrote “Credits” as a reply to the fans post. The rapper insinuated that Honey Singh had stolen the credits of the songs when they both worked together as part of the famous rap group Mafia Mundeer. In one of his past interviews, Badshah had claimed that he wrote the lyrics of Honey Singh’s popular track Brown Rang and also had a contribution to his hit song Angrezi Beat.
This was a shocking comment from Badshah as in one of his concerts the rapper had paused the show and stated that he wanted to end the grudge between them and leave the things behind and wish him all the best for the future. He had stated that he was unhappy because of some misunderstanding that happened years ago.
“There was a phase in my life where I held this grudge against one, and now I want to call it quits and leave that grudge behind – and that’s Honey Singh. I was unhappy because of some misunderstanding, but then I realised when we were together. Jodne waale bahut kam the, todne waale bahut the (The number of people wanting to break us apart outnumbered the number of people trying to unite). Today, I just want to let everyone know I’ve left that phase behind and I wish him all the best,” Badshah had said.
