Alia Bhatt took away all the attention when she walked down the red carpet at the Cannes Film Festival. She was representing the haircare brand L’oreal Paris at the Film Festival in the French Riviera as their global ambassador. Alia is also a brand ambassador of the luxury dress and was seen donning a dress by Gucci which was a modern rendition of a saree.
While at the film festival she was in a conversation with Brut India, she was asked who are the other regional filmmakers or actors that she wants to work with in the future. Alia showered praises at the veteran actor from the Malayalam film industry, Fahadh Faasil. She applauded his acting and revealed that Aavesham is one of her favourite films.
Alia said, “Fahadh Faasil is someone I really admire; his work (as well). He is such a fantastic actor. I think Aavesham was one of my favourite films and he was just unreal. I would love to collaborate with him someday.”
The Bollywood actress also spoke on the plethora of talent in the industry as of now. She talked about another great actor Roshan Mathew who she worked with in the movie Darlings. She spoke highly about the actor’s talents and said that now after making his mark in regional cinema she is shining in the Hindi film industry as well.
“There are so many actors and there’s so much talent out there. I had the good fortune of working with Roshan Matthew on Darlings. He’s, of course, a wonderful actor, who’s done a lot of Malayalam content. He is also making waves in Hindi now,” Alia stated.
The reports suggest that Alia is currently working in a film project titled Love and War. She will be seen paired alongside her husband, Ranbir Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal. The film is a directorial venture of veteran director Sanjay Leela Bhansali.
