From US to UAE, India sends strong message against terrorism with MPs delegations

India’s central government has decided to send delegations that will travel to different countries of the world to convey India’s message of Zero-tolerance against terrorism and Operation Sindoor carried out by the Indian Armed Forces on May 7th in retaliation to terrorist attacks in Jammu and Kashmir’s Pahalgam.

The Indian government has chosen 59 members across 7 delegations. 31 members out of the 59 are from the ruling National Democratic Alliance whereas 20 members are chosen from different parties across the country. There will be other former diplomats who will travel with them to assist them while the message is conveyed.

It is reported that the tour is expected to begin on May 23rd and while on the tour the delegation members are scheduled to visit a total of 32 countries. Along with that they will also be visiting the headquarters of the European Union in Belgium.

The Group 1 will be led by BJP’s Baijayant Panda and will be visiting Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Bahrain and Algeria. The other members travelling along with him will be – BJP’s Nishikant Dubey, Phangnon Konya, Satnam Singh Sandhu, Rekha Sharma. AIMIM’s Asaduddin Owaisi and Ghulam Nabi Azad along with Ambassador Harsh Shringla.

The Group 2 will be led by BJP’s Ravishankar Prasad and will be visiting the United Kingdom, France, Germany, the European Union, Italy and Denmark. The other members travelling with him will be – BJP’s Daggubati Purandeswari, Ghulam Ali Khatana, Samik Bhattacharya, (UBT) Shiv Sena’s Priyanka Chaturvedi, Congress’ Amar Singh and MJ Akbar along with Ambassador Pankaj Saran.

The Group 3 will be led by JDU’s Sanjay Kumar Jha and will be visiting Indonesia, Malaysia, South Korea, Japan and Singapore. The other members travelling with him will be – BJP’s Aparajita Sarangi, Brij Lal, Pradan Baruah, Hemang Joshi, Trinamool Congress’ Yusuf Pathan, Congress’ Salman Khurshid, and CPI’s John Brittas along with Ambassador Mohan Kumar.

The Group 4 will be led by Shiv Sena’s Shrikant Eknath Shinde and will be visiting the United Arab Emirates, Liberia, Congo and Sierra Leone. The other members travelling with him will be – BJP’s Bansuri Swaraj, Atul Garg, Manan Kumar Mishra, BJD’s Sasmit Patra, IUML’s Mohammed Basheer and SS Ahluwalia along with Ambassador Sujan Chinoy.

The Group 5 will be led by Congress’ Shashi Tharoor and will be visiting the United States, Panama, Guyana, Brazil and Colombia. The other members travelling with him will be – BJP’s Shashank Mani Tripathi, Bhubaneswar Kalita, Tejasvi Surya, LJP’s Shambhavi, JMM’s Sarfaraz Ahmad, Shiv Sena’s Milind Murli Deora, TDP’s GM Harish Balayogi along with Ambassador Taranjit Singh Sandhu.

The Group 6 will be led by DMK’s Kanimozhi Karunanidhi and will be visiting Spain, Greece, Slovenia, Latvia and Russia. The other members travelling with him will be – BJP’s Brijesh Chowta, National Conference’s Mian Altaf Ahmad, SP’s Rajeev Rai, RJD’s Prem Chand Gupta, AAP’s Ashok Kumar Mittal along with Ambassadors Manjeev S Puri and Jawed Ashraf.

The Group 7 will be led by NCP’s Supriya Sule and will be visiting Egypt, Qatar, Ethiopia and South Africa. The other members travelling with him will be – BJP’s Rajiv Pratap Rudy, Anurag Singh Thakur, V Muraleedharan, AAP’s Vikramjeet Singh Sahney, Congress’ Manish Tewari, Anand Sharma TDP’s Lavu Sri Krishna Devarayalu along with Ambassador Syed Akbaruddin.
