Sopa Lodges, a well-known safari lodge chain in East Africa, has appointed Global Destinations as its official marketing and sales representative in India. The partnership aims to introduce Sopa Lodges to the Indian market, providing Indian travelers with safari experiences in Kenya and Tanzania.
Sopa Lodges has been offering safari experiences in Africa’s iconic wildlife destinations since 1986. The collaboration with Global Destinations will allow Indian travelers to explore wildlife encounters, landscapes, and hospitality.
According to Kennedy Ayoti, Chief Operating Officer – East Africa, India is a growing market for tourism, and Global Destinations’ expertise will allow them to provide Indian travelers with safari experiences that immerse them in the natural beauty and wildlife of East Africa.
Global Destinations has been promoting travel experiences for over 15 years. Pranav Kapadia, Founder and Director of Global Destinations, said they are honored to represent Sopa Lodges in India, offering luxury, sustainability, and an African safari experience. Kapadia added that they are excited to introduce Sopa Lodges as the go-to destination for wildlife adventures in East Africa, as Indian travelers seek experiential travel.
The partnership will help Sopa Lodges expand into new markets, allowing Indian travelers to explore Africa’s wilderness. Global Destinations will be in charge of marketing, sales, and promotions for Sopa Lodges in India, to create awareness and engagement among travel agents and tour operators.
Sopa Lodges has properties in Kenya and Tanzania, including Amboseli Sopa Lodge, Lake Naivasha Sopa Resort, Lake Nakuru Sopa Lodge, Masai Mara Sopa Lodge, Samburu Sopa Lodge, and Tarangire Sopa Lodge. The lodges have 462 rooms with cottage-style accommodations. Sopa Lodges offers activities such as game drives, bush dinners, nature walks, and boat rides.
