Kadwa Patidar Samaj (KPS) Chicago celebrates Diwali in grand style.

On October 26, 2024, the Kadwa Patidar Samaj (KPS) Chicago held its annual Diwali event at Atlantis Banquets, located in Arlington Heights, Illinois. The event welcomed 350 KPS families and friends of KPS members. Incumbent President Vijay Patel extended a warm welcome to all participants, including members, their families, friends, and donors, while wishing everyone a joyous Diwali celebration.

The program started with the Deep Pragatya ceremony conducted by the Grand Sponsors, Chhotalal and Harshaben Patel, Patel Brothers Mafat Patel. After the ceremony, Chhotalal Patel addressed the audience, delivering a thoughtful message aimed at the KPS community.

Former President Harmil Patel was felicitated. Jatin Patel, Past President of KPS and KPS Advisory Committee, spoke of Harmil Patel’s significant contribution during his tenure with the organization. Harmil Patel then gave an inspiring address to the audience. All the annual advertising sponsors and donors were invited to the stage and felicitated.

The Diwali event featured a variety of delicious appetizers followed by a sumptuous dinner. Orchestra Saregama musical group entertained the attendees with a repertoire of various songs throughout the evening. After dinner, KPS Vice President Satish Patel and Secretary Himanshu Patel presented an overview of KPS events for 2024. Satish Patel thanked the volunteers for their support during the KPS picnic, health fair, and Navratri events. Additionally, Narendra Patel of the KPS Advisory Committee honored the Past Presidents and Board of Directors along with dedicated volunteers for their extraordinary contributions.

Attendees expressed considerable joy throughout the KPS Diwali program, with many joining in the dance and appreciating the music, until the festivities ended around midnight on Saturday.
