Congress leader and former Rajasthan Deputy Chief Minister Sachin Pilot slams PM Modi, alleging that Central Govt. is “working in a biased manner“

A political storm is brewing in Rajasthan after the expelled Rajasthan Minister Rajendra Gudha dropped a bombshell by claiming that Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot is very tense about the contents written in his ‘Red Diary’. Gudha added that whatever is written in the diary will come to light before the public eventually.
The Rajasthan government on Friday sacked Gudha hours after he criticized his own government over the crimes against women in the state. On Monday, he was seen carrying a red diary to the assembly which, according to him, contains details which can ‘expose’ Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot. On the other hand, the BJP is saying that the people of Rajasthan want to know what secrets the diary contains.
On Thursday, Prime Minister Modi laid the foundation stone and dedicated a series of transformative development projects in Sikar, Rajasthan. He also made a “red diary” jibe at Ashok Gehlot. Later, BJP MP from Rajasthan PP Choudhary claimed that the Chief Minister’s “rainbow diary” will soon come up in the public domain and his trusted people will reveal it.
“Gehlot ji is worried about red diary as well as rainbow diary because it will come soon. Ashok Gehlot ji is tense about red diary but black, yellow, white and many more diaries will come soon, that’s why Rajasthan CM is tense,” said PP Choudhary.
PP Choudhary said that the contents in these diaries will be revealed by his own people and recently expelled Minister Rajendra Singh Gudha had revealed the “hidden truth”.
“That’s why Gehlot ji is not worried about one diary, he is worried about the coming of another diary,” the BJP MP added.
Meanwhile, Congress leader and former Rajasthan Deputy Chief Minister Sachin Pilot on Thursday criticized Modi, alleging that central govt is “working in a biased manner.”
“Even today he (PM) did not make any announcement on ERCP (Eastern Rajasthan Canal Project). He is not raising the issues of people…No Confidence Motion is being brought by the Opposition but he has kept ‘Maun vrat’ on the issue of Manipur. We all want that there should be a discussion on this… The central govt is working in a biased manner. And as elections are approaching, there will be more such political speeches rather than talking about development works,” said Pilot.
Furthermore, speaking on the BJP’s demand to unveil the ‘red diary’, Pilot said, “BJP has no issue left to talk about. They failed at the Centre. They failed in Rajasthan as the opposition. They are involved in quarrels. I believe that the Congress will form governments in Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh, Telangana, and Madhya Pradesh”.
Earlier, Narendra Modi on Thursday attacked the Ashok Gehlot government in Rajasthan over paper leak cases and alleged that it is playing with future of the youth of the state. Addressing a rally in Sikar, PM Modi said the central government is working for the progress of youth. “But what is happening in Rajasthan? Youth’s future is being played with in Rajasthan. A paper leak industry is being run in the state. The youth of the state are capable but the government here is ruining their future.”
Prime Minister Narendra Modi accused the state government of corruption and being complicit in the leak of examination papers. “The Congress has run a market of lies in Rajasthan in the name of running government. The latest product is ‘Red Diary’. It is said that in this diary Congress’ black deeds are listed,” he said.
He also launched a scathing attack on Indian National Developmental Inclusive Alliance (I.N.D.I.A.) and said that the way Mahatama Gandhi gave the slogan of Quit India, it is time for corruption and appeasement to quit India.
“With the label of INDIA, they want to cover up their old deeds, the deeds of UPA. Had they really cared about India, would they have asked foreigners to interfere in India?”
“The way Mahatama Gandhi had said Quit India, today’s slogan is Bhrashtachar (Corruption) Quit India, Parivarwad Quit India, Tushtikaran (Appeasement) Quit India. Quit India will save the country and help our nation develop,” he added.
PM Modi said a top Congress leader had given the slogan ‘Indira is India, India is Indira’ but the public defeated the Congress.
