Arshdeep Kaur has been crowned the 2026 National American Miss Jr. Teen New York, earning an opportunity to compete for the National American Miss title in Orlando, Florida, during Thanksgiving week.
The National American Miss program conducts state pageants across the country each year, with a mission to inspire and equip the next generation of female leaders. The organization emphasizes confidence, character, purpose and vision, guided by its motto: “We are girls with dreams and women with vision.”
Kaur was selected to represent her state in recognition of her accomplishments, leadership and commitment to community service. Along with her state title, she has received a $128,000 college scholarship to Midland University, to be used over four years.
National American Miss describes its program as an age-appropriate, family-focused pageant experience designed to celebrate the potential of girls and women while encouraging personal development and academic achievement. The organization awards thousands of dollars in scholarships and prizes each year.
The program features seven age divisions for participants ranging from ages 4 to 39, providing opportunities for contestants at different stages of life. Its junior divisions also promote a healthy self-image through a no-makeup policy.
Beyond the pageant competition, participants have opportunities to interact with leaders and community representatives at the local, state and national levels. These experiences are intended to help contestants develop leadership skills, confidence and a stronger sense of purpose.
As Kaur prepares for the national competition in Orlando, supporters and community members are being encouraged to connect with and encourage the newly crowned state titleholder. Her journey to the national stage represents not only a pageant achievement, but also an opportunity to further develop her leadership, service and academic aspirations.
