UnitedHealthcare celebrated the grand opening of its new Edison Asian Resource Center, expanding access to culturally relevant health care support, benefits education, and community resources for New Jersey’s Chinese, Korean, and South Asian communities.
Located at 561 US Highway 1, Suite C2, Edison, NJ 08817, the center provides in-language assistance and personalized support to help residents better understand and navigate their health care benefits and coverage options.
The grand opening ceremony brought together UnitedHealthcare leadership, New Jersey elected officials, community-based organizations, and local community leaders to commemorate the opening of the new center and its commitment to serving the diverse communities of Middlesex County and surrounding areas.

The Edison Asian Resource Center offers educational programs, health and wellness seminars, and customer service support for individuals seeking information about Medicare, Individual & Family Plans, employer-sponsored health coverage, and other health-related resources. Representatives are available to provide assistance in multiple Asian languages, helping community members access information and services in a culturally responsive environment.
On the occasion, Christopher Law, national vice president, UnitedHealthcare’s Asian Initiatives said, “For more than three decades, UnitedHealthcare has worked to support Asian communities through culturally relevant outreach, health education, and personalized service.” Law added further, “The opening of our new Edison Asian Resource Center reflects our ongoing commitment to meeting people where they are and providing trusted support in the languages they speak. We look forward to partnering with community organizations and local leaders to help improve access to health care information and community resources for residents throughout New Jersey.”

New Jersey residents can visit this store (and another storefront located in Palisades Park) to learn about their insurance coverage options or attend educational seminars. Customer service representatives can answer questions and help connect people with community resources and social services such as the Medicare Saving Program (MSP), Pharmaceutical Assistance to the Aged & Disabled (PAAD) and Senior Gold programs – both New Jersey state-funded prescription drug initiatives that help eligible residents with the cost of prescription medications, and Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP). The customer service representatives are also available to help people enrolled in UnitedHealthcare employer-sponsored plans review their benefits and eligibility, and provide translation service for documents, including those not related to health insurance plans.
UnitedHealthcare serves more than 1.7 million people in New Jersey with a network of 100 hospitals, and more than 35,000 physicians and other care providers statewide.
