American singer Nick Jonas has named Vicky Kaushal and Karan Aujla’s 2024 hit “Tauba Tauba” as his favourite Bollywood wedding song, revealing it is the track that instantly gets him dancing at Indian ceremonies. The declaration came while Jonas was promoting his upcoming film Power Ballad, during a media interaction where he was asked about the one song that can get him on the dance floor at a wedding.
“There are these classics like Celebration, We Are Family. I also love Tauba Tauba from Vicky Kaushal’s movie. It’s a great song,” Jonas said, placing the viral Bollywood chartbuster alongside international party staples like “Celebration” and “We Are Family”. The song is from the Amazon Prime film Bad Newz, directed by Anand Tiwari and starring Vicky Kaushal and Triptii Dimri.
“Tauba Tauba,” sung and written by Punjabi artist Karan Aujla, became one of the biggest viral tracks of 2024, known for its high-energy dance number and choreography by the legendary duo Bosco-Ceacer. The track quickly turned into a wedding favourite across India, and now it has an international fan in Nick Jonas, popularly known as “Nick Jiju” in India for his love of Bollywood music.
