This prestigious recognition reflects GEI’s unwavering commitment to advancing neonatal eye care and preventing avoidable childhood blindness through innovation, outreach, and measurable impact.
GEI has emerged as one of India’s leading institutions in ROP care with over 40,000 ROP screenings, helping save the vision of thousands of premature infants and contributing significantly to national scale-up efforts in collaboration with leading partners and stakeholders.
It was a great honor to receive this award on behalf of GEI Chairman, Dr. Vadrevu (VK) Raju, MD, whose lifelong vision and humanitarian leadership continue to inspire transformative eye care initiatives globally.
The award was presented by Annurag Batra, Chairman of Business World, making this recognition even more special.
