Overseas Friends of BJP (OFBJP-USA), Dallas Chapter, has organized a massive Victory Celebration in McKinney, TX on Sun May 10, 2026, commemorating BJP’s victories in West Bengal, Assam, and Puducherry, along with significant gains in Kerala. Scores of Indian Americans including men, women and children with all gaiety have enthusiastically participated in the celebrations. The program commenced with the national anthems of the United States and India, followed by a “Vande Mataram”, lighting the lamp by the guests.

National Social Media Coordinator Nirmala Reddy welcomed the guests and dignitaries, setting the tone for the evening. Dallas Coordinator Bhima Penta presented an overview of the West Bengal and Assam elections and highlighted OFBJP’s contribution during the campaigns for the respective states.
The gathering praised the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, highlighting his ability to overcome political opposition while upholding constitutional values and democratic principles. The celebration blended political enthusiasm with cultural pride, featuring traditional Bengali delicacies such as jhalmuri and laddus.

A solemn tribute was paid to party workers whose sacrifices and struggles were acknowledged as instrumental in the party’s success. Attendees observed a peace prayer and one minute of silence in their memory. Volunteers of the OFBJP Dallas Chapter were also honored for their dedication and continued support to the organization.
Special guest Madhavi Kolli, Vice President of BJP, Telangana, addressed the gathering and shared her experiences from West Bengal, where she spent nearly 45 days encouraging women voters to participate fearlessly in the democratic process. She spoke about the challenges faced by party workers and highlighted the courage and commitment of BJP volunteers working under difficult circumstances.

The speakers also referred to reports of post-election violence following the 2021 West Bengal Assembly elections, including incidents of political clashes, arson, and displacement of opposition workers and residents reported during that period.
Nirmala Reddy, Bheema Penta, Raghav Shet, Kannan Ramanathan, Rohit Gangwal, Pankaj Kumar, Hemant Kale, Prakasarao Velagapudi, Chhaya Gayee and others spoke on the occasion. Proudly assembled Hindus shouted the slogan “Bharat Mata Ki Jai” several times. Also said. Narendra Modi ki Jai. The Victory Celebration ended with greater inspiration and a clear vision for protecting Bharat Mata.

A book titled “Narendra Modi: the Pride of Bharath,” written by Prakasarao Velagapudi, was presented to Smt. Madhavi Kolli and all the dignitaries on the stage. Jai Hindu Organizers also took the opportunity to celebrate and honor all the amazing women who participated in the event.
