Ayodhya
Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor has bought a land parcel worth Rs 3.31 crore in Ayodhya. He invested in The Sarayu, a premium plotted development by The House of Abhinandan Lodha (HoABL). The deal covers a 2,134 sq ft plot along the Sarayu River banks.
The transaction happened recently, as Ayodhya grows as a spiritual and luxury spot. HoABL announced the purchase on Thursday. This 75-acre project sits just 15 minutes from Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple and 30 minutes from Maharishi Valmiki International Airport. It offers villa and bungalow plots in a gated community with over 30 amenities like clubhouse, swimming pool, wellness center, and meditation zones.
Ranbir’s move comes ahead of his role as Lord Rama in the upcoming film Ramayana. The city draws stars with its mix of heritage and modern living. Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan has also invested here. The Sarayu blends eco-friendly features such as solar panels and rainwater harvesting with luxury. Prices start at Rs 1.72 crore for 1,250 sq ft plots.
The temple town booms with tourism and infrastructure after the Ram Mandir. His investment shows faith in the area’s future as an investment hub. HoABL calls it Ayodhya’s first 7-star development, including a Leela Palace hotel. Ranbir said, “Ayodhya has chosen me,” linking it to his Ramayana prep.
