Filmmaker Sooraj Barjatya has announced his next big family entertainer, Yeh Prem Mol Liya, starring Ayushmann Khurrana and Sharvari. Ayushmann steps into the shoes of the iconic ‘Prem’ character from Barjatya’s classic films like Maine Pyar Kiya, Hum Aapke Hain Koun and Hum Saath Saath Hain.
The film marks the first on-screen pairing of Ayushmann Khurrana and rising star Sharvari, who plays the heroine. Rajshri Productions, in association with Mahaveer Jain Films, shared the exciting news via an Instagram statement on April 20, 2026. It is a Himesh Reshammiya musical, bringing back the director’s signature style of heartfelt romance and family values.
‘Yeh Prem Mol Liya’ will hit theatres on November 27, 2026. “We Have An Announcement!! This November, Rajshri Productions (P) Ltd. in association with Mahaveer Jain Films, brings to the BIG screen a family entertainer directed by Sooraj R. Barjatya titled – ‘Yeh Prem Mol Liya’ starring Ayushmann Khurrana and Sharvari a Himesh Reshammiya musical. In theatres 27th November 2026 – Save the date,” read the official post.
The cast also includes veterans like Anupam Kher in key role, adding depth to the story.
Fans are thrilled about Ayushmann essaying ‘Prem’, a role made famous by Salman Khan. Barjatya reunites with Himesh Reshammiya after Prem Ratan Dhan Payo (2015). This post-Diwali release promises a big-screen family treat.
