SGML Eye Hospital USA, Inc., a New Jersey-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, is proud to announce a Gala Dinner and Musical Extravaganza to be held on Sunday, April 26, 2026, at the prestigious Royal Albert’s Palace in the new banquet hall. This special evening is dedicated to raising funds and awareness for the Shiv Gyan Moti Lal (SGML) Eye Hospital, located near Ujjain, in Madhya Pradesh.
Founded with the vision of eliminating disparities in access to eye care, SGML Eye Hospital USA, Inc. supports the delivery of high-quality, affordable, and accessible eye care services to underserved and underprivileged populations in rural India. In regions where healthcare access remains a daily challenge, the organization is working to create sustainable, equitable systems that restore sight and transform lives.
Since its inception in January 2023, SGML Eye Hospital has made a remarkable impact:
- Over 2,000 successful eye surgeries performed
- More than 20,000 outpatient consultations provided
- Services delivered at affordable, subsidized, or no cost for patients in need with financial challenges
These milestones underscore the organization’s unwavering commitment to becoming a center of excellence in eye care, while extending compassionate and efficient services to vulnerable communities.
The upcoming gala promises an evening of elegance, entertainment, and purpose. Guests will enjoy a curated experience featuring gourmet appetizers and dinner, an inspiring presentation highlighting the hospital’s achievements and future vision, and a vibrant live musical performance. The renowned musical group STR Entertainment will provide entertainment with Sanjay Shah and with music direction by acclaimed composer Jignesh Patel and a full live band. The talented emcee for the event will be RJ Sanjiv Pandya.
The event is supported by an extensive network of prominent media partners, including ITV Gold, TV Asia, Parikh Worldwide Media, Indus TV, Radio Zindagi, The Indian Eye, Hi India, Gujarat Darpan, MANA TV, Akila News, India Abroad, The Indian Panorama, The India Observer and several other leading South Asian publications and broadcast outlets.
“All proceeds from this gala will directly support the expansion and services to the SGML Eye Hospital, including the procurement of advanced medical technology, adding retinal services and state of the art equipment,” said organizers. “Our goal is to significantly scale our impact and ensure that no individual is deprived of the gift of sight due to lack of resources.”
