Parineeti Chopra has shown strong support for her husband, AAP MP Raghav Chadha, after he lost his post as deputy leader in Rajya Sabha. She shared his emotional video on social media to stand by him.

Raghav Chadha was replaced by Ashok Mittal in the position on Thursday. The AAP party told the Rajya Sabha secretariat about this change. Soon after, Chadha posted a video on Instagram with clips from his Parliament speeches.

In the video, Chadha talks about key issues he raised for the public. These include tax burden on middle class, bank penalties, food adulteration, air pollution, exam paper leaks, data privacy, and rising costs in aviation and healthcare. The clip ends with him walking out of Parliament and an evil eye emoji. He captioned it “Silenced, not defeated.” Chadha asked if raising public issues is a crime or mistake.

Parineeti re-shared the video on her Instagram Stories. She has backed him before too. When he spoke on paternity leave in Rajya Sabha, she praised him as a dad to their son Neer. She said he parents their child without being asked and sees parenting as shared.

The couple got engaged in May 2023 at Kapurthala House in New Delhi and married in Udaipur in September 2023. They welcomed son Neer in October 2025.

Parineeti was last seen in the film Amar Singh Chamkila with Diljit Dosanjh. She will next appear in Netflix series Talaash: A Mother’s Search.

Chadha’s video highlights his work for common people. Parineeti’s support shows their strong bond amid this political shift. Fans admire how the actor stands with her politician husband during tough times.
