Bollywood stars Kartik Aaryan and Sreeleela started shooting for director Anurag Basu’s upcoming romantic drama in Srinagar. Producer Bhushan Kumar of T-Series confirmed the start of shooting for this yet to be titled film with expected release this year.
Kartik, fresh from hits like Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, plays the male lead, while Telugu sensation Sreeleela makes her big Bollywood entry opposite him. Anurag Basu, known for emotional tales like Barfi! and Jagga Jasoos, directs this untitled project under Bhushan Kumar’s T-Series banner.
The movie blends romance with drama, promising stunning visuals from Kashmir’s landscapes. The Kashmir leg of shooting will capture the film’s heart—grand song sequences and pivotal plot moments. Kartik has been preparing hard, focusing on his look and dance moves. Sreeleela, riding high from South Indian successes, is excited about her Hindi debut. “It’s a dream to work with Anurag sir and Kartik,” she reportedly said.
